The City of Norwood, Payneham & St Peters commissioned SGL to review of its swimming centres in order to develop a long term strategy for council.
The primary objectives of the Review were to undertake a complete assessment of the management and operation of the Councils two Swimming Centres and the current and projected costs to operate the Centres.Services: Facilities
North Sydney Council engaged SGL to prepare financial models for a number of Master Plan options that were being prepared by Brewster Hjorth Architects. The financial models were to be supported by an accompanying Catchment and Market Analysis Report which was to inform each different scenario in the modelling.
The financial model for each option forecast the projected operating revenue and expenditure for a period of 2, 5, 10 and 20 years after opening to assist Council in determining a payback period if the project was to be funded through commercial borrowings.Services: Facilities
Gympie Regional Council had resolved to establish a new aquatic centre in Gympie and was undergoing a detailed design process for the facility. A range of management options had been considered by Gympie Regional Council including, in-house management, fee for service and out-sourcing.
SGL was to prepare a detailed management and operations specification to:
Identify and articulate the service expectations of Gympie Regional Council
Present the expectations in a manner that ensures they are able to be readily understood by prospective managers
Provide a recommendation in regards to management model for consideration by GRC
The Northern Sydney Regional Organisation of Councils (NSROC) engaged SGL to consolidate and update information on the development of synthetic sports fields in the region, either on new sites or through redevelopment of existing turf fields.
