SGL consulted to assess the viability of a Water Park in remote Lajamanu

Thursday, Nov 1, 2018

Lajamanu is an indigenous community approximately 560 km south west of Katherine, on the northern edge of the Tanami Desert and the eastern side of Hooker Creek.

Initially the local community wished to establish a swimming pool for its young people.  However, the lack of an adequate water supply meant this was not sustainable.  Hence a feasibility study was prepared to assess the sustainability of constructing a water play park.
